To my memory, ‘Hitman’ with Jason Statham didn’t go anywhere. There was just that one movie, and every one decided to call it quits. The property up and died leaving hardly anything to recent memory. Can either be the beginnings of series, or concepts that failed in the cinema. What other movie loose-ends can you think of?
EDIT: Whoops, Jason Statham wasn't the lead of that movie. Goes to show.
