When I was between the ages of 13 and 16, I was really into metal music, particularly screamo. During that time, I remember falling asleep with my earbuds in, listening to my favorite metal songs at the time.
Looking back, I think this is really strange because that genre of music is so intense and stimulating, but I've had conversations with other people who have had the same experience.
Does anyone know why/how a person would be able to - or want to - fall asleep listening to screamo?
