Currently the FTSE100 is something like 7458 (just a guess, but I'm sure it's between 7-8k). I know it's something t do with the market value of the 100 biggest UK businesses, and the bigger the number, the more value they are collectively worth. This is used as an indicator of economic performance apparently. Enough of that tho, what is each individual point worth? I'm assuming each 1 point is 1 billion British pound sterling. Probably way off tho.
