I saw it when it came out (i remember nothing of it) and was aware that it was based on a longstanding Steven King story (never read any of his work at the time). Im watching it again now after finishing the second book today...
I have to say there was a lot of material that could have been transcribed to meaty video that would have gripped audiences.
Mind you i just finished the second book and its the first of Steven Kings work that i've read.. To me it seems like this story line has opportunities to it that a haphazard suit just said "slap kings name on it and call it a day".
What happened to this intellectual property?
