This sub hates the word underrated but it doesn't come into play more than it does in this film. Jeff Goldblum and Laurence Fishburne in my opinion give their greatest performances, Goldblum's unhinged David Johnson is quite the engaging Villain.
And what I admire about Goldblum is his performance is not typically unhinged, there's a understanding with this characters wrestle for power and same is applied with Fisburne's character.
I also would like to praise Bill Duke's directing, its also a underrated part of this film. I don't quite know how many people don't know this film but for those who haven't seen it I would highly recommend it.
