(someone smarter than me) Why are people generally more squeamish about seeing the insides of dead mammals versus other forms of life such as insects or marine animals?

I strive to understand the world I live in as much as a dummy like myself possibly can and in doing so I have come across many dead creatures of all sorts and have always tried my best to determine how they died and what condition they were in when they did so. Seeing once living things opened up has never bothered me one bit but it seems that to most people seeing mammals opened up like a roadkill deer or coyote is far worse than the remanence of a salmon torn open by a bear or a giant scorpion squished on the sidewalk.

I think it maybe has something to due with us being warm and furry like other mammals but I'd like to know the real answer.
