My(28F) husband(27) is leaving in less than a month to begin a new career as a driver for a large trucking company. We have been together 9.5 years and married 1.5. We have lived together for 8.5 of those years. The longest we have gone without seeing each other is 5 days. We spend a lot of time together but we also each enjoy our alone time. He will be leaving in Feb and will be gone anywhere from 3-6/7 weeks. After the initial period he will only be home for about 4 days each month. I don't know how I'm going to handle him being gone for such long periods of time.
Anyone that's been in a similar situation, do you have any advice? How do I keep my marriage alive? How do I keep my sanity? We do not have any children yet, but do want them in the near future.
