For example: My Dad loved “Quigley Down Under”. To this day, I don’t understand why. It’s super mediocre. Tom Selleck basically plays Tom Selleck, yet my father could practically quote the movie line-for-line.
My Mother on the other hand loved Rocky V and thought it was the best in the entire franchise. Her reasoning was it really “humanized” Rocky, and loved the whole kid becoming a bad egg dynamic. I didn’t get it.
