Period issues

Note: I know that I should ultimately go to my doctor if I have any questions. This is only being used as confirmation.

10 months ago was my last "normal" period. They would always come every 5 weeks (or so), and would last 4-5 days. Then I started my job at a grocery store. Now, I know that courtesy clerks (baggers) aren't super active and don't have too much difficulty in their job description, but I am a relatively inactive person, only really walking 15-20 minutes at a time during the school year, and my other part time job during the summer was a desk job. So, of course, standing for 6 hours straight, walking around a lot, and doing some minor lifting was a lot more than what I was previously doing.

May 2018, I skipped my period. Like I said, my periods come close to every 5 weeks, so if my last one happened late in one month, it wasn't unusual for it to skip one month and start early the next. However, I started my grocery store job mid May and expected my period to come about a week later (I've never tracked my periods, but I've always had a general sense of when they would start). Well, it didn't come. Thought that, since I was more active than I usually was, my body was making adjustments, so a skipped period was normal. Didn't think much of it.

I've never had a regular period since. Since April of last year, I've had maybe 3 periods (like I said, don't track), and, instead of lasting 4-5 days, they've lasted an average of 2. I'm fine with this, I've always hated periods, but I also know that a change like this could mean something bigger. Other than increasing activity, there have been no more major changes in my life

Today was the first time I've bled since October I believe. Normally symptoms begin within 24 hours of bleeding; this time, symptoms began almost a week beforehand, and I've actually been cramping for two days before anything happened

As stated before, I know I should go to the doctor about this. I don't care about myself really, so I probably won't, but I know I should. Is this something to be worried about?
