He's a contemporary of Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Jon Voight, etc., but doesn't usually get talked about as being an actor on their level. I've always thought he was good when I've seen him in films, but he hasn't had a lead role in a huge amount of them. Why do you think that is? I looked it up and he's been nominated for an Oscar 3 times, but he never won, and one of the films, The Prince of Tides, I've never seen. What are your thoughts on him?
