I recently watched “we are your fiends” staring Zac Efron about an aspiring DJ. The film had a pretty nice soundtrack. It is one of the few films with actual electronic music in it.
However the film is about a DJ so it kinda makes sense for there to be that type of music in there. It got me thinking how there aren’t any films (that I’m aware of) that feature some dubstep or EDM music that isn’t about a DJ.
As electronic music fan I wonder why that is? Certain drops paired with beautiful visuals can really be amazing in a theatre. I get the music isn’t for everyone but I hate country music yet loved the Logan trailer with Johnny Cash because it was paired with some very nice complimentary visuals.
Are there any films with a dubstep/EDM score? Would you be interested in them?
