So I forgot to return a rental I borrowed last year and I guess my school uses Barnes and nobles for books since I’ve been getting phone calls and emails from Barnes and noble to pay for the book and last time I checked it was $80 which was the full price of the text book. I have ignored them all this time but I’m wondering what happens if I keep ignoring them because I can still buy books in school and no one questions me so I don’t think it’s in my school account. I still have the textbook and would gladly give it back to them if it means they’ll leave me alone and not have any significant consequences ie credit report or stuff like that and if they can damage my credit history, how screwed am I?
