So I dont want this to come accross like im some rabid defender of this movie or something, honestly I only just watched it tonight for the 1st time, it came out when I was like 6 or 7 and I just never got around to watching it until now. It was just a night in with the gf and some vodka so we decided to browse Netflix and found it. She was shocked I had never seen it so we watched it. I thought it was pretty good, some parts were eh, but the concept was really good and I was mostly sucked in, the ending was bittersweet but that was the intention of it. So I look up the movie on my phone afterwards trying to look a little more info on it cuz my interest was peaked and I saw it had like a 33 on Rotten Tomatoes.
I just wanted to know why it gets such a bad critical rating? Like what are the common complaints that people dont like about it? Honestly I just dont see it, again I mostly enjoyed it like id give it about a 7 out of 10 if I was forced to rate it.
