This is pure speculation here, but his last movie was released in 2014, by the end of next year that will be 7 years ago. The longest break he ever took was 5 years which was between Panic Room and Zodiac.
Hes getting older now (currently 56) and seems to really fancy television (House of Cards, Mindhunter) to the point where I think he just not be all that interested in making movies anymore
It's too bad hes waiting so long to make another movie because I personally think hes on top of his game, his last three movies have been nothing short of excellent imo (Social Network, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl)
What are your thoughts? Do you think he will continue making movies, or is more or less winding down his movie making career and possibly shifting over to television. All thoughts welcome
