So I’m moving out of the apartment I share with my roommate soon. We were friends for years but we recently had a falling out. I paid more for everything we have in our place because she couldn’t afford to spend a lot and I didn’t mind helping out at the time. The couch was $1000 (I paid 700, she paid 300), the tv was $300 (I paid 200, she paid 100). Are things I paid more for mine? Should I be paying her any money if I take the items? And is it fair to ask her to pay the difference between what we each paid if she wants to take the couch and tv? ($400 for couch, $100 for tv)
