Anyone who grew up in NE remember The Voyage of the Mimi?
It was shot in my home town. Theme song is still stuck in my head 25+ something years later.
I guess it's technically credited as a T.V. show, but in school teachers always billed it as a movie. I remember my teacher getting all excited to show us Ben Affleck when he was young. I had no idea who he was.
Still remember doing the work sheets as we watched the movie.
Watching it as an adult, I'm kind of surprised how progressive it was for its time. It's actually kind of funny too.
Anyone know if they still show it in schools?
