Yeah probably more of a rant than a legit post but for the love of god just shut the fuck up when you're in a movie theater. I get it. The movie illicits emotions. We all feel them. But your gasping and guessing and preempting the reveals of every suspenseful mechanism are audible to the people around you and destroy the effect for people that want to experiment the dynamic range of a film for themselves.
I cannot believe how often I'm confronted with this. Must be well over 75% of all movie experiences. Save your commentary and guffawing and your sidebars for the second watch at your fucking house.
EDIT: I feel I need to clarify that basic, private "lean over" comments to the person next to you here and there are obviously not what I'm talking about. It's the open air statements to whoever cares to listen every five minutes that are the offenders here.
