just finished watching happy death day 2.
and damn this movie took a weird turn from the first one.
there is a plothole and some confusing plot points that I'd like to address about the movie.
- the 2 ryans, the movie never addressed the the situation with them, it seems like it completely dropped that plot point and never came back to it, how did the second ryan even come to their dimension and what happened with them at the end, did they just drop that plot after the beginning of the movie and left it like that?
- at the beginning of the movie, in the og timeline right after the first movie plot ends, when ryan experiences his repeat and comes to tree and the other dude and tells them about it, tree mentions how both lori and tombs are dead so the new killer cannot be them- how is that possible? in the first movie tombs only managed to get out because l lori released him, but at the last repeat of the movie, tree kills lori right in the morning when she is given the cake, which means lori never got to release tombs, so how are they both dead? was that ever addressed?
