I'm a freelance artist struggling financially. All my friends and family insist I get a day job and work there indefinitely, but doing so has left me suicidal. Family and loved ones are apathetic or frustrated with me. Can someone tell me what the point of continuing is if you're doomed to doing a job you hate indefinitely?
