My boyfriend and I live together in the city in a valley so on top of that there's a lot of pollution, the air stays unclean until it rains or snows. I've been getting sick more often all 3 years that we've here. I hardly ever get sick but I've been sick every winter now when the pollution is at it's worst. This winter I've been sick twice and that hasn't happened before. I keep mentioning it to him but he insists that there's pollution everywhere and that has nothing to do with me getting sick. I think more of it has to do with him having a good paying job here and student debt to pay which I understand, but even the people here tell me that the children get random nose bleeds, the elderly are susceptible to developing Parkinson's disease and in general, the people don't live very long. As soon as his debt is paid off which we'd probably be married by then, I'd like to move somewhere warmer, but he keeps getting annoyed by the question. I don't know what to tell him or how I can make it clear to him that my health is suffering because of the constant poor quality.
