Hello reddit,
I’ve been in my complex for over a year and it’s progressively gotten worse. Someone I share a vent with has started smoking and it fills my apartment with odor, I have asthma and I’ve needed to use my inhaler more than usual. I’ve reached out to the property manager and they’ve told me to just cover my vent since they can’t find the source. Also I can hear all the fire doors slam now, they used to soft close but now they just wake me up in the middle of the night since my apartment is located by the stairwell. I’ve phoned and emailed to asked maintenance to look into the fire doors directly and the main office and have received no response. I’m wondering if there’s more I can do?
