I've been tasked with finding films that are both happy and sad at the same time. Actually this is a regular thing and I'm running out of ideas so I need some help.
We watched The Intern the last time and she enjoyed it bigly, even though she was crying because she felt sorry for the "that old man" (Robert Deniro). So I think that's the kind of film I should be aiming for... "feel good" movies or comedies with some sadness.
Any recommendations of what to watch that makes you feel good but also has some crying opportunities at the same time?
For the lads, what does your other half like to watch when she's feeling down?
