Hi! I want to start working, because I am starting college soon. I have the possibility of just paying 200 dollars in bills each month, because of my scholarship money. This makes me able to just work and be a student at the same time and easily pay off my bills each month. But my parents, who are letting me stay with them as I go to college to save money, are having NONE of it. I want to work to pay off my college tuition as fast as I can. Since I know in the future I will be going to a dental school, which is also a lot of money. They don’t want me to work because that will affect the family income and ruin the insurance benefits that they have, especially for my Autistic brother. Is there a way, since I’m 18, for me to have a job and NOT affect their taxes?
