It seems like almost every movie or show had a scene with dogs barking. I want to understand why. What does dogs barking add to your random pan shot of a neighborhood? Cars driving through some houses, dogs barking . A person walks in a park, I bet there will be dogs barking. Your main character decides to take a short cut down an alley, booom random dog barking! Which then makes my dogs bark. Why does there have to be so many dogs barking? What does it add to the scene?
