I feel like the movie gets way too much hate than it deserves. Sure, no one's saying it's the greatest movie of all time, but it's a colorful, entertaining experience with some great world-building and visuals. I'm no die-hard Avatar fan but I still think it's a fun ride of a movie and thought more people would feel this way. And I've heard all the Ferngully, Dances With Wolves comparisons but I feel like movies rip eachother off all the time.
Especially with the news of the delay of the sequels, I keep seeing people shitting on the original. Why do y'all hate this movie so much?
