I was having a conversation with my brother about a fan project. In which a character (who's hair is blue) is suggested to have a normal hair color before becoming blue.
So it got us into the topic of unnecessary origins that don't really need an explanation. For example Han Solos name, or his gun, or his vest or whatever, but also changes in their pigmentation. And that's kinda where my question is.
What movies are there based on properties (say video games or comic books) with characters that have unique hair/skin colors, that I'm the movie have that happen to them to explain why they look like that. I feel like that's a thing in movies but for the life of me I can't think of any examples. If you guys have any recollection of this stuff let me know please!
An example that came to mind is Rogue from the 1st X-Men movie where rogue gets the rest of her hair white. Stuff like that is what I'm talking about.
