The Paul Haggis helmed film Crash is infamously known for winning Best Picture at the Oscars over Brokeback Mountain. Since then, it has been declared as one of the worst Best Picture winners of all time. Even now, a lot of people in the film fan community tend to regard this movie with disgust. But why? Why does Crash get all this hate? Is it for its portrayal of race relations? Is it because it's preachy and pretentious? Where does all the hate come from?
