I am not sure but I saw this some time ago. The movie is about a guard turning on the electricity. The story starts about him telling stories in a bar when he turned into an alcoholic. Everyone thing he is crazy but it was a true story in a way that scarred him. I think it was a British or an Irish movie been a while,
