Let me explain a bit better what i'm after:
Let's say that the director of the movie, lead writer, someone from production etc. (it doesn't matter - generally someone associated with film) decides to reveal that universally accepted understanding of that movie isn't true and that there are hints in the film that are suggesting the real meaning, yet noone has managed to piece it together?
I'm interested in examples of something like this happening throughout the history of film, whether the fanbase managed to piece the puzzle together or if it remained a mistery waiting to be solved.
