Memorable scenes in forgettable movies

[Trying to avoid spoilers, might be some mild ones] I recently watched “Unforgettable,” starring Rosario Dawson and Katherine Heigl that, not surprisingly, did not live up to its title. Regardless, there was a scene towards the end where Rosario Dawson was at a police station talking about a sensitive subject from her past and she just had me riveted and actually brought tears to my eyes. It was a totally average movie that I’ll likely forget in a couple years, but those two minutes were really powerful to me.

This brought to mind other similar experiences where I watched a movie that didn’t wow but had one scene that stuck. Like the second Huntsman movie, which was awful and I fast forwarded through a lot of, except for some of Emily Blunt’s scenes that brought a lot of emotion. Or the recent American Assassin, which was so-so but had a scene worthy of a rewatch towards the end.

What movies can you think of that were only average but had an above average 5 minutes that stuck with you? (Avoid major spoilers, if possible. I don’t mind mild ones.)
