Jeremy Renner in Wind River. I actually didn't really like him all that much in his previous roles, but this one he owned. I hope this film wins something.

Michael Shannon in The Shape of Water. Holy schmoley, he really revs it up for this role and you can feel his anger, his lust, his frustration.
