Mulholland Dr. is my favourite film of all time.
I remember, when I first watched it, I was completely dazed and enchanted by it I read about it for whole night, from dusk to dawn. I got to know it was first intended to be a TV series, and actually they shot a pilot for the thing! But it never come to life for some reason - I remember the TV station wasn't really impressed with it.
With that said - if all went differently, how do you think such a show would turn out? I honestly think as a standalone movie the work is doing great - I don't think there was much else to say about it, since it probably would turn into a boring soap opera/mystery series, which what was ultimately the bane of Twin Peaks (which is my favourite series of all time, by the way).
