Watched it for the first time in October and just rewatched today. My god what a movie. A Greek tragedy meets David Cronenberg. Jeremy Irons is fantastic, such nuanced performances as a set of identical twins. What an utterly bizarre concept but the impact of it on the characters still feels so real and painful. There's hints of Cronenberg's trademark body-horror but this film is better described as a horror-tragedy.
