An utterly thrilling watch. I haven't seen acting with that emotion since "Moonlight." It's beautiful, pensive and heartbreaking. An emotional rollercoaster. The performances are really, really good-- to the point where I had to pause a bit because it'd be so taxing and draining. I loved the way it shifts in the second half with a captivating performance from newcomer Taylor Russell, as we get to see the younger sister in a suffering family. I really like how it is not only a story about a broken family but how they learn to forgive each other and heal from their wounds. And we get to see how damn hard it is.
