I honestly have no idea where to ask this question... and if it gets removed, I'll know that I am in fact in the wrong place.
However, all that withstanding; I have a simple question.
Should I finish watching Midsommar?
I usually am a horror addict, but shy away from "torture porn" movies (Saw, The Collector, Piranha) or anything that is just there to psychologically shock you (think the end of The Mist from 2007). Now, usually, if I start a movie and find that I might not be enjoying it, I finish it. I feel there is no sense having a massive unanswered question gnawing at your brain, you know?
However, with the massive shutdown across the world, I am out of work, on my own, and pretty much without family. This is all to say, I'm feeling sad as shit right now.
This all brings me back to my question... I just made it through the first 10 minutes of this movie, and for those of you who have watched it, you know what just happened (not gonna say it, I'm not trying to spoil anything for anyone). Is the whole movie gonna be like this, and should I watch it?
If you have any niche horror movies that you think I might not have seen or should watch instead, I would love suggestion.
