What's the general consensus of the film? If the tragedy didn't happen to Brandon Lee, would the movie be as loved by fans?
I had this conversation with a buddy the other day. I grew up admiring both Brandon Lee and River Phoenix. Both died in 1993 and now as an adult in his 30s, I still love watching their movies.
But is The Crow a great film? I think it excudes early 90s, but it holds up well. The acting for the most part is great, some maybe over the top.
Is my love from nostalgia or was the it simply a great film for it's genre?
