So I hit a parked car and left a note (my car was fine, theirs was damaged) . The police ended up calling me a few days after bc the note and car were still there. It looks like the licence plates were not registered to the car leading to the conclusion they illegally parked it there with out insurance. If they have no insurance do I still have to pay for damage? This means they can’t make a claim right? Will the repercussions be less severe considering it will illegally parked?
