Can Infinity have certain rules ?
I had an argument with a friend about the universe.
We both agree that the universe is infinite, however I believe that means that literally everything is possible, even for example a planet or galaxy or whatever, that doesn't have to abide by the rules that are known to us.
He thinks that not everything is possible and everyone and everything has to abide the rules that are known to us.
But wouldn't that mean his version of the universe isn't infinite?

For the music writers of reddit. How can I write a good duet for me and my friend?
So I'm currently working on a duet version of hallelujah for french horns. So I wrote it out then showed it to my band director, and he basically said it was shit so he gave me the chords and said ok you can only use the notes in this chord. But I'm running into a problem that when I'm using the chords and doing what my band director told me to do it sounds bad and I'm losing the note patterns so its sounding less and less like hallelujah and more like something vaguely similar to it. So the question is how can I use the chords but still make it sound like hallelujah?

Does Killing of a Sacred Deer have animal death scenes
I just have a quick question about Killing of a Sacred Deer. I want to watch this movie because I love dark dramas and thrillers, and I keep seeing this listed among the suggestions for that type of movie. I've just been very put off by the title of the film, because I cannot handle animal death scenes in movies. Just wondering how literal that title is.... (I mean if it's just some sort of animal getting hit by a car I can look the other way, but I'm going to be pretty upset if I have to stop the movie halfway through because of some torture scenes or something)

My theory as to how *spoiler* is back in F9....he’s somehow tied to the Eteon organization from Hobbs and Shaw. Crazy...but does anything make sense at this point?
I got a bit of backlash when I proposed this theory online after the trailer dropped, but I think it’s a way better theory than just saying Han was rescued and recovered no problem.
Let’s be real....Han died in that explosion. We saw it twice in the franchise. There’s no way in heck I’m willing to believe that Han just crawled out or got pulled out before the car exploded (even though the franchise is crazy now).
My theory? Han was, or is somehow tied to the main antagonist of Hobbs and Shaw, the Eteon organization. Not much supports this but anything is possible at this point.
I think that when Han passed in the car explosion, Eteon took him in and gave him the ultimate recovery and super soldier enchantment process like they did Brixton in Hobbs and Shaw.
And this would also make sense because at the very end when the team is victorious...the voice straight up tells Hobbs that he probably doesn’t even remember him. Also he says that “it’s going to be a hell of a reunion” before he shuts his feed down.
Considering how Hobbs worked with Han for 2 movies, and how Shaw was the person who did try to kill Han....it lines up with the line “it’s going to be a hell of a reunion.” Only thing is Shaw’s sister was also in the scene, but hey maybe he was just addressing Hobbs and Shaw.
Now if Han IS the voice we heard at the end of Hobbs and Shaw...what are his motivations? Because Han was a laid back guy and had no problems with anyone. I guess if he were to end up being an antagonist, we would slowly learn his motivations in F9 and a potential Hobbs and Shaw 2?
But if Han is just working for Eteon, why now does he want to come out the shadows? My guess is that he’s forced to in order to stay alive. Similar to how Brixton was given superhero abilities in exchange for getting the virus and taking out Hobbs and Shaw, I can see the same thing happening in F9. Maybe Han has a mission he needs to complete that involves going back to his old family.
But if this theory is bogus and they decide to just bring back Han to bring him back? I’ll be a tad bit disappointed.
I feel as if it’s going to be a little unbelievable to just conjure up a reason why Han is alive and just role with it. When Letty was “dead” it made sense and it wasn’t like we actually SAW anything until it was revealed in F6. Hans death we saw twice and it was confirmed that he was dead....like they had a funeral and everything and they fucking had one for Gisele too.
Either way, I hope it’s not a cop out reason as to how Han is back. I’m going to be highly disappointed if they say he “never died.” Because then that takes away the emotional weight of the audience thinking that both Gisele and Han were dead.
If he’s the antagonist or works for the antagonist of Hobbs and Shaw, it adds a little more shock value and connects the movies perfectly.
But let’s face it, my theory is probably bullshit because they probably will cop out LOL. Just having fun guys.

Honestly, F&F 9 looks like the dumbest shit ever but honestly, I'm hyped
There's magnet planes, Spider-Man cars and John Cena plays Dom's brother who was never mentioned before, but, maybe, he was always there and we just couldn't see him lol which should make for a fun watch..
Charlize Theron is back, which is something I'm really happy about as I really like Charlize Theron and is great in everything she does. Mia is also back.
Also, Han is somehow back. I'm guessing he somehow managed to crawl out of the car and went into hiding or something but this is something I'm looking to seeing him in action again as he's one of my favourite characters.

What's the duration (minutes) of a page in a mute film?
I'm planning on doing a short or medium length film. The teacher asked us to do the screenplay or script (don't know which is the best term). Usually, a page is equivalent to 1 minute, right? But what about a mute film? Idk when to separate a line. Since there's no dialogue,it ends up being way shorter than with dialogues...
So please, answer my main question and maybe someone could recommend me a screenplay from a mute movie available.

American beauty commentary (spoilers)
Just finished American beauty for the second time after watching it while I was in college. Thought it was an absolutely beautiful movie. I usually can guess a movies IMDb rating and meta critic rating fairly decently, but this time my ratings were significantly higher. I had some thoughts on the move that I hadn’t seen elsewhere and wanted to read your guys thoughts.
I thought the movie was roughly half critique, half other stuff. I think the title, American beauty was the critique. “American beauty” is not actual beauty, “beauty is everywhere”. I think many of the characters symbolize this as well.
Caroline was obsessed with “the appearance of success”. She valued that over her marriage and her happiness. Her ambitions were her real estate reputation, material things like the expensive couch, and other stuff that I can’t remember immediately after watching,
The colonel was fragile masculinity among other things. The emphasis on guns, homophobia (in 1999 was probably much worse) and of being a man I think are old mantras associated with America and often times success and happiness in america.
Angela represented the shallowness of wanting to appear pretty and image obsessed through her desire to be unique and desired by boys/men.
Lester for the majority of the movie I thought represented lust, but the ending really through me for a whirl. He clearly had obtained happiness and it was once he finally got over his thing for Angela. If anyone can provide any more analysis that would be awesome (obviously doesn’t have to be within my theory). He ended up finally coming to terms with the same perspective as Ricky.
Ricky and jane represented actual beauty. They were “freaks” and “ugly” in the minds of others but they were truly happy with each other and even though people like her best friend Angela thought they were freaks for dating they did it because it made them feel happy and they were vulnerable with each other, not because of metrics measured by society.
If anyone also has input for the roses or the color red, I’d love to hear it. Again I thought it was lust since it was in every Angela fantasy, but there’s actually roses in the background of the kitchen when they are no longer thinking about sex and just having a nice moment. Not long after, Caroline arrives home and is also wearing a red dress and red lipstick. Then, a few scenes later if not the next one, while Lester is remembering all the of the happiest moments of his life aright before he gets shot, he stares at a picture of his family right in front of the red roses. His last “happy memories” is also of is wife and daughter. The blood on the wall is also red but I’m unsure what, if it does, add anything. I’m thinking the roses actually represent love? That once Lester finds out Angela’s a virgin he obviously doesn’t want to take away her innocence, because he actually loves her. Caroline wears the red dress right before he looks at his family portrait in front of the red roses because he also remembers/possibly does at the end love her.
Near the beginning of the film, I think when the gay neighbors are doing something, Caroline is also picking red roses, but we never see her actually touch them. Idk what to make of it.
Just some reflections immediately after watching. I’m trying to do this after movies but none of my friends care about movies in the same way. Lemme know your thoughts and please teach me something!

What horror movie is this??
My girlfriend remembers watching a horror movie a long time ago but can’t remember the name but remembers that the girls dad dies and her mom gets weirdly jealous of her and starts liking her bf and there’s some creepy freezer in the basement and then one scene of the girl losing her virginity to her boyfriend and her mom walking in and calling her names and then you find out the mom killed the dad and the body is in the freezer and the movie ends trying to open the freezer but it’s locked.
I know this is a super unorganized post but we’re going crazy trying to figure out the name so I would appreciate any help I can get.

If we ever make Full dive VR, pausing the game would probably be one of the weirdest things to experience.
I mean you'd feel like you're living a fantasy or sci fi worlds or something and then everything just stops and if the game auto paused when you checked your inventory you would just see everything freeze. Imagine a situation like Zelda Breath of the Wild where you take a lot of damage and then you eat a full course meal while everyone is just frozen in place like statues.

If the Dolby "All around you" audio cuts one or more words out, does that mean the theater speakers are broken or misconfigured?
If you don't know what I mean, it's this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93_t7T95bAY where the words will come through in a surround sound fashion.
I've been in several theaters where the audio comes through as "All ---- you" or "----- around you", and it always makes me wonder if I'm going to get a less-than-ideal audio experience, or if there was just a glitch or something.

So yes I'm late but wow this movie is fantastic. Easily top 7 this year for me, maybe even higher. The 3 main leads did such a great job. Perfect casting. Even had real wrestlers and Yelawolf (so underrated as a rapper)
I hope Shia can continue to keep his head on straight cause dudes got real talent with strong charisma. This was honestly one of the best buddy movies I've seen.
Also I'll never use the R word ever again even in jokes.. Movie had a lot to say and was extremely well done. These people with disabilities arnt as helpless as people think. Even someone who cares (female lead) with a good heart can hinder these people..
9/10 easy. Good music choices, strong script and acting. Has some great cinematography for an indie film. Preferred this over honey boy which I'd rate 7ish/10

I love movies. In the last two years they've grown from something I just enjoyed to something I'm pretty obsessed with. However, I've ended up having a major problem:
I'm great at finding movies to watch, not so great at being sure I watch them.
Currently I have a list of movies that borders on about sixty films to watch. Being a student, I don't have as much time as I would like, but I want to be sure I'm expanding my horizons with what I'm seeing. So r/movies, I was wondering if you all could help me out.
I'm going to include my full to watch list below, and maybe someone could help me edit it down. (Ten movies to prioritize, some to cut until I'm sure I'd be interested in them, movies I should replace others on my list with.) I'm aware it's an odd question, but I think this might be a way to make me stop compiling and start watching.

My view on Weathering with you (Spoilers)
Hey all, just wanted to share my thoughts on weathering with you and hopefully have a discussion with you all
Yesterday I finally watched weathering with you in theaters and I got to say I was really impressed, since I saw Your name by the same director I was looking for this movie
The colours, the visuals and the soundtrack were brilliant. But on the other aspects it was lackluster
It seemed like the story wanted to be soo much more but got locked down into the same formula of Your name Here are some examples:
When the girl starts praying for the sun, everything works out fine, but suddenly there are reports of water creatures around tokyo, they dissapear when anyone touches them, and there is even a moment where 2 kids see a giant creature made of water that bursts.
We also have the heavens, where the girl gets taken. It looks awesome, but it also made me wonder, shouldn't there be other sunshine girls, or do they disappear once they get there?
Besides this there are soo many product placements, I saw myself trying to see how many products I could recognize, and godamn that bic mac did look good hun, but was this because the film got sponsored by all those companies or just a directors vision?
And finally what are your thoughts on the kids boss? I found his character more interesting then the boy himself
Anyways I give the movie a 8.5/10 but it still feels worse compared with your name, which I feel will allways be a sort of comparison to all future movies by the director

Godfather question
I haven't read the book, so maybe there is an answer in there. Michael was a soldier in WW2 prior to Part 1. Did he kill anyone during the war? When he is getting ready to to the restaurant to kill Sollozzo and McCluskey, his family members seem to be prepping him emotionally for his first kill. Just curious if these were the first he killed or if he had killed before in the war.

Why am i not feeling anything
This is my first ever post so i dont even know how to check the responses but whatever
So lately i haven't been able to feel any emotion or any kind of empathy, i guess i do feel when something is right or wrong, or what i should feel at the moment, but i just don't, a friend of mine died a couple of months back, and i didn't feel sad or anything, even though i know i should had, couple of months prior to that my dad bought me a car, i didn't feel happy or excited, and i had a hard time pretending, my girlfriend and i broke up and i didn't care but she mentioned that it was because i didnt show her love or never talked to her in a loving way...
Is this normal? i guess im worried in a way, so i guess thats a feeling so it might not be that bad. If anyone has any tips on how to become more emphatic or anything it would help, i think i should care about this

I am not sure if this is a crime or this is abuse. With few people to talk to, I rely on your judgement. I am 22 years old Male, and when I was 19 my alcoholic father passed away. He was always a good man to me. Immediately after my mother and seven years older sister began being hostile and agresssive with me. They made me feel guilty for my dads death and that I didn’t deserve to get into a good university which was my way out, making my sister jealous. - They began forcing me to sleep with my mother and one night she put her hand on my stomach and I felt uncomfortable and pushed her hand away and then she placed her hand back on me. The atmosphere was strange and it was like she was going to have sex with me and I felt paralysed. Nothing happened. - They began forcing me to drink alcohol on many occasions against my consent. - They ultimately forced me to work in a bar serving drunks all summer as some punishment, against my consent. They were relentless and aggressive in making this happen. My sisters friend is a bar manager and my sister would come in to work to ensure I had not left. - I got into a good uni so I thought this would end, but it continued and continued and now I just want your help or guidance. - My mother didn’t support me getting help from my uni in the first semester refusing proof of my dads death so they could help me. - My mother did not support me living in a flat with friends and instead isolating me by putting me in a one-bed flat that is free to live in as it was purchased with my dads apartment money from his death. - Lonely in the flat, I bought a rope for attention to wake my mother up and have heart-to-heart and feel compassion. She did the opposite and forced me to go the GP and forced her way into the meeting against my consent, and forced the NHS to provide a service called IHTT which administers drugs to people at home, despite the GP being very surprised at IHTT being offered and reassuring my mother that I am fine and not to interfere I was 20 at the time. This is where my story gets worse and I became a victim of institutionalism of psychiatry and my mother in collusion with the doctor forced drugs on my against my consent for a year, drugging me out of university for a year and traumatising me with myofaschial pain. She beat me, shouted at me and made feel guilty for my dads death. I bought her £500 worth of Christmas presents under the subordination I was in and to make her stop. She treats my sister like a goddess.

(This is relatively recent) - my mother recently put in money for a new laptop - my mother funded a summer school as I couldn’t live with her and the damage it did to my career - My mother funds my therapy - my mother drops food at my student accommodation as I’m depressed and eating poorly

Crazy prank idea!!
Alright reddit I’m looking for some help in the prank department.
Here’s the deal. Back in October my friend and I were working on an assignment. We proofread them for each other and my friend managed to add something into mine without my knowledge. I found out the morning after the due date (couldn’t edit my work) when someone else asked to read what I wrote. Now what did they write you may ask. Well. I wrote something along the lines of finding it valuable to take small study breaks and stretch your legs to clear your mind. My friend took the liberty of changing it to: “Taking small penis activity breaks and moving your legs is beneficial”. I wasn’t upset because it’s funny and it was also a peer assessed assignment. It did spread like fricking wildfire though and all of our classmates were like oh my god.
Anyways. You may be wondering why I need to get back at my friend for this small prank. Well you see, we quite enjoy joking around and there have been a series of other long term jokes that have spread across friend groups and throughout the school. He always roasts me and now it’s my turn to finally get back at him. Additionally, I told him that I would get him back for this little penis break situation when he least expects it. Told him it could be months or perhaps even decades later. I’m opting for now. He doesn’t believe I can come up with anything very good.
With that, I need something subtle and clever. It would preferably somehow relate back to the penis break thing so that it’s clear to him what’s happening when the prank is underway. Conan the Destroyer, PG rating?
So I’m embarrassed to say, even though I was born in the 80’s, I had never seen any of the Schwarzenegger Conan movies, until a few weeks ago. I happened to catch the Conan the Barbarian on HBO, and really enjoyed it, despite not really being a fantasy nut. So, I was going to watch the sequel, Conan the Destroyer, but I noticed a strange detail: It’s rated PG...compared to the R rating of the first flick. The thing I enjoyed about Barbarian was the violence, gore, and nudity. So is the PG-rated Destroyer worth my time?
TL;DR: I liked the boobs and blood in Conan the Barbarian. Does Conan the Destroyer hold up in that respect?

What's the book Kiyoshi Kurosawa's "Cure" is based on?
I recently saw Kurosawa's masterpiece film "Cure" for the first time about a month ago. It's been haunting me in the best way. In the credits, I recalled seeing that it was based on a book by Kurosawa. I've been wanting to read it, but I haven't been able to find any evidence it even exists, besides IMDB confirming that Kurosawa is indeed credited with writing both the script and novel.
If it does exist because it's so hard to find on the web, I'd highly doubt it's been translated to English, but now I'm just curious about the status of it. Does anyone have any information on this work?

3 documentaries
Recently I have been getting into cinema as an art form so I have been binging Scorsese, Bong Joon Ho, Kubrick, And other movies. But for about 2 days I watched 3 documentaries just for the sake of it. One was Filmworker, the second is Into The Inferno, And the final that I just finished watching is 13th. Personally I enjoyed Into The Inferno the most with its beautiful cinematography and interesting perspectives from people all around the world. Filmworker was interesting for its photos and behind the scenes footage of Stanley Kubrick movies. And 13th was probably the most impactful with strong images and videos being presented. What are your opinions on these documentaries and what are your favorite documentaries? My personal favorite documentary is probably Jiro Dreams of Sushi.

Question about the end of Forbidden Planet
I've just watched it and whilst I liked it there's one thing nagging at me about it, how exactly was the monster from the id created by morbius subconscious if morbius never knew the krell finished their instrumentallity project, therefore couldn't use it to conjure things up from his mind which would of created the monster? Was it the brain boost device that created it, so he could conjure things up from his mind after using it but just didn't know? The film isn't to clear on it and it's just bugging me

What's with all the hype about Taxi Driver?
I recently watched Taxi Driver because I freaking loved Joker and I heard this was similar and in some ways even better, but I just really did not love this film like everyone else does. Maybe I was just expecting too much or comparing it to Joker too much, but man, I just found it kind of average and dull, especially compared to Joker.
What am I missing? I'm genuinely curious why people think this move is so great. I wouldn't say I hated it; I thought DeNiro was a fine lead, though nothing special. It had a couple interesting and cool moments but to me it just didn't really stand out. I definitely like Joker a million times better than this movie. Like I said, I freaking loved Joker so I really wanted to love this movie too, but I just didn't.

Muppet Star Wars
I feel like this is such a no brainer I can't believe Disney hasn't done it yet. Then again, Disney doesn't seem to know what to do with the Muppets at all.
Someone proposed Muppet Princess Bride a few weeks ago and while I like the idea, Star Wars is a much bigger IP. Plus, Disney already owns Star Wars AND the Muppets so I have to imagine that makes this way easier for them.
The casting practically takes care of itself:
Han - Kermit
Chewie - Fozzie
Princess Leia - Miss Piggy
C3P0 - Bunsen Honeydew
R2D2 - Beaker
Luke - Walter from the 2011 Muppet Movie, or maybe Robin
Obi Wan - Gonzo (I'd like to save Gonzo for Lando or Yoda, but let's assume we're only getting one of these and need to fit him into A New Hope)
Darth Vader - Sam Eagle
Tarkin - split him into two characters and fill the role with Statler and Waldorf
Greedo - Pepe the King Prawn (like the Gonzo situation I'd rather Pepe be Boba Fett, but again let's assume we only get one shot at this)

What’s a surgery that gets you out of work for about 3-4 weeks?
I know there’s a lot of stigma about mental health but I’m not strong enough right now to just own it. I work for a pharma company and the job is go go go. I’ve been really struggling lately with anxiety and depression and my therapist suggested I take a few weeks off to do an intensive outpatient treatment. I think this could really help me but I just don’t know what to tell my coworkers. HR can’t tell anyone what my paperwork says but I did confide in my boss. (Her suggestion was hemorrhoid surgery and there’s no way I’m saying that.) What would be a reasonable surgery I could have that would mean I would need to stay home for 3 or 4 weeks of recovery? I don’t mind a gynecological excuse because then people won’t ask too much. I know I could choose not to tell them anything, but that would be really strange in my office and I’m pretty close with a decent amount of people in my group - just not THAT close that I would tell them I’m severely depressed. If it helps, I’m 39 years old. People know I’ve had some stomach issues in the past and some heavy periods. Any ideas?

There’s a lot of back story. But you can skip it if you want and just meet me at the bottom.
Dropped out of college in 2011
Moved home, step dad hates me, even though all I do is go to work, sleep and repeat, so moved out with an old college friend
One week of living with friend, he says i-grok-it (that’s me) I signed a lease for another apartment behind your back, I’m moving in with my BF, sorry, you have a month to move out
I move out in 4 days and never speak to him again
Lived on my own and hustled for a year before I eventually tuck my tail and swallow my pride and move back home
Old job takes me back, I’m working all the time, even got promoted but Stepdad still hates me, so I move out again to live with older sister and her husband
The husband, my BIL, is ex-marine and says, Hey i-grok-it, I see you out here hustling, I know you want to go back to school and get educated ya big nerd, So why not join military and get GI Bill
Enlisted in the Coast Guard, scrape through bootcamp and come out of it all fucked up, I literally had a limp that still comes back when I am on my feet too long or the weather is too humid.
But, I did it. Now I’m a lil Coastie sailor and things are going along okay.
Until I catch feelings for another sailor and at the same time start feeling all the years of trauma and daddy issues and toxic friends and a chaotic childhood creep up on me and I realize I haven’t dealt with this shit because I’m always running on full steam and staying busy.

Cue mental breakdown and now I’m not functioning well at work
Ah, but alas at the same time the guy I caught feelings for is pressuring for us to stay together, to play up my mental issues so I can discharged and we can be together. And he also proposes.
I got discharged. We got married. I’m living back home until Mr.Coastie gets out of his military job school and I can go live with him at his next duty station
Step dad doesn’t hate me anymore because I’m married now, so that was cool.
Anyway, I’m out of military and that’s for the best BUT I miss the work. I genuinely LOVED being at sea.
So, I apply for job on cruise ship
Got the job, did the training, just waiting for ship date.
Wait a year. I’ve already moved to buttfuck, nowhere Alabama with my husband and I’m bored and we’re broke because he burns through his pay checks
Cruise job contacts me, Hey, you never showed up. I say, you never told me to. They say, weird, whatever, want to come now? I say, fuck yes
I go. To Hawaii. Have a great time. Go back on healthy diet. Start working out again. Loving the sensation of being back on ship. Coworkers are awesome. So much positivity unlike the military.
Talked to the right people, so I might slide out of Hotel department into Engine department which is fantastic.
But husband is miserable the entire time. And pressured me to quit with only one month left to my contract. So. I BUY MY OWN ticket back to shithole Alabama from Hawaii.
Husband is all yay but also doesn’t miss a beat to start pressuring me for permission to buy and build a PC for himself even though we’re broke and even though I just quit my job and BOUGHT a very expensive flight home because he begged me to.
He spends a few thousand on that and I’m just left to pick up the pieces of my life again. And to be generally ignored because he’s always gaming.
I try to make things work but honestly I’m miserable and depressed. I miss working in a career I really liked.
But I think maybe, since husband is an Aircraft Mechanic in Coast Guard, maybe I can figure out a way we can both be happy
I decide to try entering into his industry by becoming a flight attendant. And that’s okay. But I don’t enjoy it as much as the cruise job.
But my airline is hiring people to go through Aircraft Mechanic training.
Again, I talk to the right people and I basically just have to apply and I’ll be accepted into the program.
Husband doesn’t like it. Pressures me to quit altogether.
And back home I go. Depression 100% Husband is like, Why? And I’m like, R U seRiOuS?
Now, I’m just trying to do damage control on my marriage, keep myself from slitting my wrists and figure out what the fuck will be my next misadventure.
If you skipped everything, no problem. All you need to know is:

I was in the military and I hated everything but the working on a ship part.

My husband (still in the military) has pressured me to quit 3 separate careers, (military, cruise and airline) because he’s codependent and can’t handle time apart.
Here’s the deal. I have two options.
- Apply for a paid, year long training with a guaranteed job at the end as a sailor, where I basically have to go through bootcamp (lite) again. And will probably be the straw that breaks the camel’s back as far as my marriage.
OR
- Wait until halfway through next year when we Maybe get stationed someplace near an Aircraft Mechanic school and I use either my partial GI Bill or his to pay for it. And hope that as an aircraft mechanic I will:
A. Be happy and fulfilled in a career that can move around with me as a military spouse. Which could potentially help save my marriage.
And
B. Will hopefully allow me to be home enough to satisfy his needs for my physical presence (that he ignores anyway because he is always on his PC).
I realize the elephant in the room is my marriage.
Yes, I’m thinking of divorce.
No, I don’t have a definite reason why I am putting off divorcing him. We can dive into it if you want to, but I’m more interested on hearing thoughts about the two career choices.

I found a hole in my bag of pistachios. Do I have to take it back?
I just noticed when I picked it up and some fell out of the hole. Some also fell out into my bag. The hole is right by the barcode so idk why I didnt see it sooner. Oh and it was the last bag too. I really wanted to munch on some pistachios.
I'm probably only scared about it being made by a mouse or something in the store. Got it from superstore.

Is it possible for a band to make a song in the moment, like in Disney musicals?
Those moments a group of strangers find themselves in the same place, and play a song they never wrote all together in time.
I assume no, but possible to maybe do one without vocals and basic melodies if you all guess well.
I'm no musician, so I wouldn't know.
But my god it's just not possible for them to all play in time and well with someone singing lyrics that are being written on the spot notes written on the spot- alright I'm ranting.

1917 belonged more to Hallmark or Lifetime than Hollywood.
Sam Mendes’ WWI epic 1917 is a meandering, maudlin film filled with manufactured pathos.
Mendes and screenplay cowriter Krysty Wilson-Cairns somehow concluded that the fight to the finish, trench and gas warfare of the first World War wasn’t fertile enough to elicit genuine emotional reactions.
Instead, they trotted out a pair of lads upon a Hobbit-like quest who commit inane misjudgments whilst taking their sweet time to deliver an urgent message against a backdrop of sterile trenches and vacant French fields.
Heartstrings are pulled with all the subtlety of a chainsaw, while the story goes absolutely no where slowly. The musical score is adequate - fans of Pink Floyd will be especially pleased.
As for reality, fear not - that’s been banished for a single long shot, or something? Fans of that one film where that weird guy walked around the Hermitage will adore this.

Good career choices for those that can find loopholes?
What are some good career paths for people who have that natural talent for just finding loopholes, from computer games and cheating in class to covering up tracks of crime or finding loopholes in federal laws. Someone that is good at covering up his tracks, someone that can just always seem to find a way to do what they want without getting caught if you guys know what I mean. Pretty much someone that's very good at creating lies, deception and finding chinks in the armour and how to use them to benefit themselves. Obviously something ethical as well (no illegal options or activites).

After watching Cats I finally understand this scene properly.
I had always thought Team America: World Police was Trey Parker and Matt Stone's least clever effort. Even Orgasmo for how dumb it was had a clever plot line with the Mormon that can't have sex making porn. To me TA felt like they put in all of the time trying to do silly shit with the puppets and none into writing story or jokes. The same goes for this scene in Team America, where a character who hates actors talks about seeing Cats for the first time. I always thought it was a just a poor effort poking jabs at the silly names but after being made to watch Sir Ian go at a milk saucer full tongue like he was deep in his boyfriends b-hole I get why they specifically used that musical. There is so much furry fan play and innuendo in the show that those actors probably have more than a few furballs in their respective litter boxes. I haven't witnessed a more bizarre spectacle at the movies in a while and it's beyond crazy that they were gonna give this series of Barbie crotch close ups an Oscar run. That being said I can not recommend this Crime Against Theater Screens but I'm glad I understand Team America just a little more.

The Mummy (Frasier)
So I have The Mummy playing for some background noise while I do some cleaning and I’ve noticed something. For a supposed curse, why did it seem to give Imhotep a lot of power ups and bonuses and such??
I know it’s circumstantial on him being released from his tomb for these powers to be activated, but it still seems like a pretty poor plan when you’re trying to curse someone and end up giving them more power than when they were alive.
